DENVER, Colo.–Beginning on Tuesday, June 18th, pickup and drop-off places for ride program services, like Lyft and also Uber, in Denver International Airport is going to be relocated to Level 5, Island 5 along with other ground transport services.
Ride App Drop-Off Location – Level 5, Curbside:
Passengers arriving in the airport via a ride program service is going to soon be dropped off in their specified airline location at Level 5, east and west.
Ride App Pickup Location – Level 5, Island 5:
Passengers who have asked rides through the Lyft along with Uber programs will exit the terminal via doorways 506-510 (west side) and also 507-511 (east side) on Level 5 near baggage claim and proceed to Island 5 for pickup.
Currently, passengers are dropped off and picked up on Level 6 of the terminal. Drop-off places and the pickup will streamline the pickup process.
&ldquoWe have worked to enhance the overall experience for the ride program clients and drivers,” said DEN Chief Operating Officer Chris McLaughlin. “The brand new pickup and drop-off places will help link drivers and passengers more effectively while also reducing curbside congestion on Level 6. ”
Passengers who plan to depart the airport using a ride program service must request their trip when they accumulate luggage from baggage claim, follow signs for ground transport in the terminal to the ride program pickup area. From the Lyft or even Uber program, passengers will select if they are at Terminal East or Terminal West and then will go to Level 5, Island 5 to fulfill their driver.
As always, drivers and pedestrians are reminded to stay alert and look out for one another while at the ground transportation area.
