Global superstar The Weeknd announced tour dates for the North American leg of his After Hours Til Dawn tour. With Doja Cat aboard as support, the trek will bring the artist to stadiums in U.S. and Canadian cities between July 8 and September 2. The Weeknd launches the tour at Rogers Stadium in his hometown of Toronto on July 8. Additional stops come in Philadelphia, East Rutherford (New Jersey), Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Washington D.C., Tampa, Miami, Atlanta, Arlington (Texas), Denver, Las Vegas, Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, and Phoenix before the North American leg concludes at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on September 2.
Born Abel Tesfaye, The Weeknd also announced a partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to start the XO Humanitarian Fund. Tesfaye not only will contribute $1 for each ticket sold for the tour of North America to the newly established fund, he also donated $500K with $1 million coming from the World Food Program USA. The XO Humanitarian Fund was launched, “to support the U.N. World Food Programme’s critical food assistance to communities on the brink of starvation, in countries like Ethiopia, Madagascar and Yemen,” as per a press release.
Additional dates in Mexico, South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa and the Middle East will be added to the tour soon.
