Above & Beyond released particulars of Acoustic III, their forthcoming acoustic album set to release this summer off the trio’s Anjunabeats imprint. The announcement was supplemented with the very first stripped back track from the project, “Flying By Candlelight,” together with vocalist Marty Longstaff whose voice glistens alongside a flowing bass line, orchestral strings, and soft percussion elements.
The group also announced their live tour stopping from some of most prestigious concert venues in the UK and North America, including London’s Royal Albert Hall and The Alexandra Palace Theatre, New York’s Radio City Music Hall, The Kennedy Centre in Washington DC, in Addition to the Greek Theatres in Los Angeles and Berkeley. The excursion will soon blossom at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on July 1 followed from the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
The acoustic “Flying By Candlelight” has been accompanied with a music video which was shot in The Alexandra Palace Theatre. Above & Beyond enlisted Bob Bradley once again as a director and also co-producer to get Acoustic III. In his words by a media release, “We’t had some fun with all the songs this moment. It’s a little more Quincy Jones and a little less orchestral, with some really intimate moments. ”
