Four years ago, in their round of Acoustic concerts, Above & Beyond brought their show to the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA to get 17,000 lovers. Having an orchestra, as well as collaborators Zoë Johnston, Cobi, Justine Suissa, and Natalie Holmes by their hands, the night was nearly 2 hours of beautiful music and emotional bliss.
Above & Beyond’s Acoustic project was born together with the very first record followed by a short run of shows in The Porchester Hall in London as well as The Greek Theatre, Los Angeles. The project returned in 2016 with Acoustic II” shows in The Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House, and The Hollywood Bowl.
Acoustic III is set for launch this summer on the group ’s Anjunabeats imprint and will soon be encouraged by a tour of several of the most prestigious concert venues in the UK and North America, such as London’s Royal Albert Hall and The Alexandra Palace Theatre, New York’s Radio City Music Hall, The Kennedy Centre in Washington DC, in Addition to the Greek Theatres in Los Angeles and Berkeley. The tour includes a special performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on July 1, followed by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
