Who says you could t ice? Maybe not the French. Or more particularly, not many French champagne manufacturers, that ’Id introduced sparklers meant to be served to the rocks.

Adding ice into a glass of wine, normally rosé, is known as a piscine (swimming ), widely used in the south of France, where several glaçons can be added to wine to beat the heat. However, it’s not necessarily confined to rosé; when in Corsica, folks were plopping cubes of ice glasses of red wine. “It’s overly hot…” one person told me, as ice hockey. Champagne isn’t sacred . This champagne house’s mind once said, “It’s better to bring a block of ice if it’s not served enough, than to drink hot champagne. ” As somebody who’s been served a glass of champagne in a temperature, I have to agree.
