If you captured Monday’s feature on Chef Tawnya Bahr of Sydney, our International Chef of Chef Works for January, then you undoubtedly observed just how ’s ’s attempting to raise money to assist the Australian Red Cross fire relief efforts.

Here are a few ways Australian chefs are helping out, through Food & Wine:

With current bushfires inducing devastation across Australia, chefs and restaurateurs from the United States are now lobbying to encourage farmers, residents, and wildlife which have been affected. One of these awards would be Curtis Stone, whose Michelin-starred Los Angeles restaurant, Maude, is donating 100% of profits from its existing menu into Drought Angels, a company which supports farmers who’ve lost their homes and livelihoods.

Ben & Jerry’s announced a brand new taste called “ both Netflix and Chill’d” which, according to Newsweek, “is still a peanut butter ice cream with salty pretzel swirls and fudge brownies chunks, and the tub’s design features three cattle sitting on a couch, presumably binge-watching their favourite Netflix show. ”

Chef Dayanny De La Cruz

There’s a fantastic part this week at Miami New Times, which puts the spotlight on Chef Dayanny De La Cruz. She’s that the chef for Centerplate — that the catering company at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. In case you hadn’t heard, there’s a soccer game which will be performed in Miami.

Chef is a pal of the Chef Works® website, having appeared at our Talk of the Town: Miami feature this past year. She also contributed a Super Bowl party recipe.

We’re thrilled for Chef Dayanny, that looks fantastic in her Women’s Executive Marrakesh Chef Coat.
