Local funk seven-piece, Float Like a Buffalo has been busy this season. Between enjoying Red Rocks Amphitheatre alongside Face Vocal Band at July and releasing their debut album, Back from Nowhere and almost selling out the Gothic Theatre upon its release, the funk favorites have been placing in the work with no signs of slowing down. Set to come back to the Gothic Theatre today, August 17, the gentlemen have a small something up their sleeves. Surprise releasing a fresh track, “Gone by Morning” in combination with the video release, Float Like A Buffalo can reel at the finished dog days of summer with a Breckenridge Brewery fueled celebration.
“We experienced this wonderful summertime, attaining things we didn’t think would be possible for quite a very long time,” said percussionist Garrett Achten, “but we were able to stay loyal to our origins and our passion for our community. Here is the next audio video we’Id filmed together with our family and friends as extras – but we’re lucky enough to bring on Breck [Breckenridge Brewery] and 1876 and have a far larger manufacturing this time round. ”
