We’ve compiled a series of interviews with some of our favourite local artists as part of the 303 Music Vol. 2 release. We &rsquo s want to work with Youth Record and be a part of a vinyl highlighting the Denver scene. Have a look at 303 Music Vol. 2 to observe each one the local artists we’ve partnered together and get a copy if you haven’t already.

Nightlove is bringing back ’80s synth-pop to Denver. His newest wave sound exists within a teetering kingdom of nostalgia and innovation, curating an intangible sense we had to be a part of. Before his current project, Nightlove was a part of a hardcore group, Forty Fathoms. His change in direction also included the debut of his current moniker — Taylor MacNicholas changed into Nightlove, bringing synth-pop back to the stratosphere.

Nightlove’s only, “Still in Love,” is among the songs the artist surfaced under this moniker. With its synth and soaring vocals, the song was a perfect introduction to the new job. Ever since then, Nightlove has released two sisters and a music video for latest , “San Antone. ” As the performer expands on his brand new audio, we took the evolution back to the beginning. “Still in Love” proudly takes a spot on the vinyl up, making it a timestamp of Nightlove’s musical evolution because he wades through concepts.

We sat with Nightlove to talk about exactly what it was like to work with this vinyl, Youth on Record and much more.
