The Flaming Lips released “The Spark That Bled” from their Forthcoming live Record The Soft Bulletin Recorded Live At Red Rocks With The Colorado Symphony Orchestra. The album, the Lips’ first official live album, arrives on November 29.
Recorded at Red Rocks on May 26, 2016 together with the Colorado Symphony Orechestra conducted by André de Ridder, the live album celebrates the 20th anniversary of The Flaming Lips’ milestone 1999 studio effort The Soft Bulletin. The group announced the LP in October and shared the opening track, “Race for the Prize. ” & & ldquo;The Spark That Bled” would be the path.
