Rain showers, thunderstorms possible tonight and Thursday

A couple of showers and just a thunderstorm will be possible this day throughout metro Denver.  The best chance for rain will be on the south side of city.  The majority of the showers will end by 9PM.  Skies will remain mostly cloudy overnight with cool temperatures in the low 40s.

Your Thursday will deliver a second round of late afternoon showers & thunderstorms.  These storms will likely be sprinkled meaning not everyone will see the rain.

We simply have a submerged rain opportunity on Friday, so again a mostly dry afternoon as temperatures go back to the warmer 70s.

I can not rule out storm and rain chances daily over this weekend.  The fantastic news is that the temperatures will remain in the hot 70s.

The heat seems to kick in for a couple of days early next week with readings in the 80s and also a few dry days to enjoy.

Our next opportunity for rain occurs on Wednesday with another cold front that will drop temperatures again to the 70s.
